Transactions
View, search, filter, and export your complete payment history. Understand transaction statuses and manually sync pending payments.
Viewing your transactions
Go to Transactions in the sidebar. Payments are listed 25 per page, newest first. Each row shows the date (NZ time), customer reference, amount, total paid, and current status.
Click any row to open the full transaction detail — including the fee breakdown, customer email, Stripe charge ID, and full refund history.
Searching and filtering
Use the search bar and filters at the top of the Transactions page to narrow results.
Search by
- Payment reference
- Bank particulars code
- Transaction code
- Customer email address
- Stripe payment intent ID
Filter by
- Status (succeeded, failed, pending, etc.)
- Date from
- Date to
Date filtering uses the payment time (or creation time if the payment hasn't completed yet).
Transaction statuses
Payment was successfully processed and funds are being settled to your account.
Synonymous with Completed. Raw Stripe status shown before normalisation.
Some but not all of the refundable amount has been returned to the customer.
The full refundable amount has been returned. Fees are non-refundable.
Payment initiated but not yet confirmed by Stripe. Usually resolves within seconds; use the Refresh button if it stays here.
The customer's payment was declined or an error occurred. No money was collected.
The customer opened the payment page but did not complete the payment.
The payment session expired or was cancelled before completion.
A payment session was initiated but no payment attempt has been recorded yet.
Refreshing pending payments
If you have payments stuck in "Pending" or "Created" status, the Refresh pending button at the top of the Transactions page manually reconciles them against Stripe's current records.
What the refresh does
- Scans up to 200 pending payments
- Queries Stripe for each payment's current session status
- If Stripe shows it as paid → marks it Completed and records the time
- If Stripe shows it as expired → marks it Cancelled
- Captures Stripe fees and charge IDs at this point
Most payments update automatically via webhooks within a few seconds of the customer paying. The manual refresh is a safety net for edge cases where the webhook was delayed.
Exporting transactions to CSV
Export your transaction history for accounting, reconciliation, or record keeping. You can export all transactions (with any filters applied) or select a specific month.
Go to Transactions → click "Export CSV".
Choose a specific month from the dropdown (last 24 months available) or export all with current filters.
The download includes: date, gross, fee, net, currency, customer email, payment reference, customer reference, status, and Stripe payment intent ID.
The CSV file is named manuka-pay-transactions-{your-slug}-{timestamp}.csv. All amounts are in NZD. All dates are in NZ timezone.
